Short overview of the organisation:

Simotion is a software and simulation engineering company. It models, simulates, analyses and implements hardware and software architectures of complex, technical systems for industry. By dividing a complex simulation problem among multiple models, speeding up the simulation is achieved. The methods and tools of computer simulation, visualisation, virtual and augmented reality, and real-time, distributed computer systems can be integrated in an efficient development environment.

The company’s fields of activity are in telecommunications, machine-tool building, the automotive industry, and in medical and measurement technology. In the automotive area, simotion provides simulation tests, simulator systems and functional prototypes.

Role in ecoDriver:

Simotion will provide the electronic horizon for several of the equipped vehicles.
